Woodland Park Homes and Land

Woodland Park was incorporated in 1891. At that time its primary business was saw milling—logs were cut and sold for railway ties and braces were used for the gold mines of Cripple Creek and Victor. Today Woodland Park has over 7,600 residents. Tourism fuels the economy and continues to bring people to the area. Just 18 miles west of Colorado Springs, Woodland Park’s natural environment includes spectacular view of Pikes Peak and the Rampart Range.

Woodland Park is the largest city in Teller County. It is close to the historic towns of Victor and Cripple Creek, the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Mueller State Park & Wildlife Area as well as many Colorado Springs attractions. The area is comfortable year-round with over 300 days of sunshine and mild winters. Surrounded by wilderness and among one million acres of Pike National Forest, the area is a true mountain community.

Located north of Pike’s Peak in a spectacular mountain setting, the area provides an opportunity to enjoy the scenery, outdoor activities and peaceful life of Colorado.
