Selected Colorado Springs Subdivisions Briargate real estate – In 1978, the Briargate Master Plan was developed to safeguard the vision, integrity and property values of the community. Today, the 9,600-acre master-planned community provides a carefully planned mix of land that offers opportunities to live, worship, work, and play to a wide range of individuals.
Broadmoor real estate – The Broadmoor neighborhood, incorporated into the city in the 1980s, is home to the Broadmoor Hotel, a five star hotel conference center and resort that lends historic charm and beauty to the community. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun are perched atop this area and snake through the mountainside offering awesome city views. Long-standing million dollar estates mix with new homes along the foothills and slopes of Cheyenne Mountain, establishing this as the most elite area of town.
Cheyenne Mountain, CO real estate – The Cheyenne Mountain community features expansive views of Cheyenne Mountain framed by the spectacular Rockies beyond and includes the Country Club of Colorado, Broadmoor Hills, Broadmoor Bluffs, Broadmoor Glen, and Broadmoor Oaks. Mountain side lots with natural vegetation offer grand views of the mountains, the City of Colorado Springs, and the plains. Access to downtown is easy, and Fort Carson is an immediate neighbor.
University Park real estate – The luxurious master-planned community of University Park offers incredible mountain and city views, in an unparalleled neighborhood. Hiking and biking trails, abundant green-space and native trees create an environment that will take you to the mountains. Amazingly, the location is in the heart of Colorado Springs’ North Academy business and shopping district. The University Park community abuts to the University of Colorado campus which is what gives this community its name.
Black Forest real estate – Bordering the north end of Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Black Forest area encompasses some 200,000 acres. The area is heavily wooded with some open grassland areas, primarily on the southern boundary, and is characterized by mostly 5 acre and larger lots in a rural setting. This beautiful area was named by a German Immigrant who thought that the dark hue of the Ponderosa Pine very closely resembled The Black Forest in Germany. The area abounds in wildlife, and horses are a common sight.
Gleneagle real estate – Gleneagle, which bills itself as a community of covenant- controlled homeowners associations, is largely built out. Centered around the Gleneagle Golf Club, it is framed by Northgate and Baptist roads, Interstate 25 and Struthers Road. Colorado Springs is hidden from view, and most of Monument's Jackson Creek is tucked over the northern horizon. Interstate 25 and the Air Force Academy block development to the west, preserving unrestricted mountain views.Gleneagle's population is a mix of retired and active Air Force Academy officers, empty nesters and traditional families.
